Project Description
Controlling airborne contaminants at work is a guide to local exhaust ventilated (LEV) produced by the Health and Safety Executive. HSG258 classifies LEV hoods in a wide range of shapes, sizes and designs. While these may look similar, they control contaminant clouds in three different ways. The classification of hoods highlight their essential features and they fall into three basic categories: Enclosing Hood, Receiving Hood and Capturing Hood. If a Marston fume cupboard is not suitable for your intended application then we are capable of exploring a customised containment solution and can offer to fully support this with CFD Simulations, 3D SolidWorks Modelling, prototyping and factory performance testing. Contact Marston Engineers with details of your containment requirements.
