Project Description
The MARSTON Ventilated Specimen Store has been installed in many hospital Pathology & Histology Departments. Pathological specimens are generally kept in plastic containers closed with a lid which means that during storage evaporation of formaldehyde cannot occur unless there is a spill or the container’s outer surface is “contaminated” by formalin. UK Health & Safety Legislation dictates the maximum background levels of formalin that are permitted within the laboratory and the safe and proper storage of wet specimens within a correctly ventilated store ensures OEL levels are adequately managed.
