Fume cupboards employed for special applications involving acidic digestions or handling perchloric or hydrofluoric acid are covered by BS EN14175 Part 7 and Marston produce a suitable fume cupboard complete with integral cold water acid scrubbing eliminator system. The inner chamber is also leakproof and formed as one-piece polypropylene assembly including sash glass upgraded to clear polycarbonate. Currently our range of scrubbed fume cupboards are not available in low air velocity designs as this does not provide sufficient air velocity through the scrubber to ensure maximum efficiency.
